What Glacier Bay Delivers

Straightforward Installation

Most models connect to standard water lines in under an hour. No specialized plumbing knowledge required, no service calls to get started.

Consistent Temperature Control

Hot water stays hot enough for tea and instant meals. Cold water comes out actually cold, not room temperature after the first glass.

Easy-Access Maintenance

Drip trays remove without tools. Filters swap out in seconds. You can clean or service everything yourself without dismantling the entire unit.

About Brand

Built by People Who Actually
Use Water Coolers

We’re Glacier Bay, and we make water dispensers that don’t suck. Started because our founder got tired of dealing with flimsy office coolers that leaked, dispensers with buttons that broke after six months, and “premium” models that cost three times what they should. So we built what we actually wanted: dispensers that work consistently, don’t develop weird plastic tastes, and last longer than your average lease.

Most water cooler companies either race to the bottom with disposable garbage that ends up in a landfill within two years, or they slap a luxury brand name on something and charge you for the logo. We’re neither. Our dispensers use quality components—metal internal frames, food-grade materials throughout, proper insulation that actually maintains temperature—assembled in facilities we’ve personally visited and vetted. Not because we’re trying to save the planet or win awards, but because we got sick of replacing units every 18 months.

We test everything in actual offices, actual kitchens, and actual break rooms—not controlled lab environments where nobody’s slamming the dispenser lever forty times a day or forgetting to change the bottle until it’s bone dry. Our customer service is run by people who’ve installed these things, troubleshot them, and can actually help you fix minor issues over the phone instead of immediately pushing a replacement. And yes, we publish our specs, dimensions, and component sourcing because you deserve to know what you’re buying before it shows up at your door.

Getting the Answers You Need

How long does installation typically take?

Most units can be set up in under 30 minutes. The process involves connecting to a water source, plugging into a standard outlet, and allowing the system to run through an initial cycle. Detailed instructions are included with each unit to guide users through each step.

What type of maintenance is required?

Regular cleaning of the exterior surfaces and drip tray helps maintain optimal performance. The internal reservoir should be sanitized every 3-6 months depending on usage frequency. Replacement filters are recommended every 6 months for best water quality.

Can it be used in small spaces or apartments?

Compact designs are available that fit comfortably on countertops or in tight corners. Standard models measure approximately 12-15 inches wide, making them suitable for kitchens, offices, or break rooms with limited floor space.

How quickly does it cool or heat water?

Cold water is typically ready within 30-45 minutes of initial setup, while hot water reaches optimal temperature in about 10-15 minutes. Once operating, both temperature settings remain consistent and ready for immediate use throughout the day.

What happens if it stops working properly?

Customer support is available to troubleshoot common issues like temperature inconsistencies, unusual sounds, or water flow problems. Many concerns can be resolved by checking power connections, replacing filters, or resetting the unit. Contact information for technical assistance is provided in the product manual.

Is it energy efficient for daily use?

Modern models include energy-saving features that reduce power consumption when not actively dispensing. Units typically use between 400-600 watts during peak operation, similar to other small kitchen appliances. Some versions offer eco-modes that further minimize electricity usage during off-peak hours.

Voices from the Kitchen

Woman wearing glasses and plaid

We go through so much water with three kids at home. Having the jug on the bottom instead of lifting it overhead every week has been a total game-changer for my back. No more spills, no more straining.

Young man in black shirt

I make tea constantly throughout the day, and this thing heats water in seconds. The cold side stays genuinely cold too—not just cool. It’s replaced both my kettle and my trips to the fridge.

James K.

Woman smiling in striped shirt

Looks way better than those plastic dispensers we used to have in the break room. Easy to clean, doesn’t leave that weird plastic taste, and the stainless finish actually matches our kitchen now.
